Sara Rae Designs is located in a new retail unit within the Royal Marine Hotel complex in Dun Laoghaire. The shop is owned and operated by Sara who designs and makes the jewellery.
Just a few years ago Sara decided to turn her hobby of jewellery making into a business and in March 2007 she took the plunge and rented a small space just off the main street in Dun Laoghaire. In September 2008, she moved to the Royal Marine.
She is steadily building a reputation for high quality handmade jewellery at very affordable prices. She also provides a jewellery repair service.
Her jewellery has been featured on numerous TV dramas on RTE, BBC and ITV and Costume Designer Aisling Byrne, who has worked on TV shows such as “Murphy’s Law”, “Rock Rivals” and “Single Handed” is a regular customer.
Originally from England, Sara is the daughter of veteran English actor Victor Maddern.
