Care For Your Jewellery:
You should always apply your perfume before putting on your jewellery, in order to prevent staining - particularly if wearing pearls; perfume can do irreparable damage to pearls.
I advise you either hang your jewellery up, or lay it flat, rather than simply 'dumping' it in a drawer. Necklaces that have been strung on beading wire can become permanently 'kinked' if not treated with care, and eventually that kink will weaken the wire and your necklace will break.
I suggest that if you must fold your necklace (to pack it in a suitcase, for example) then lay it down and twist it like a figure eight before folding in half, thus ensuring that you are not kinking the wire. I also recommend the use of a jewellery roll to pack your items when travelling.
